Installation & Interface
Like the majority of not only monitoring, but all the kind of software the installation of All In One Keylogger is a process of running through the following windows:Welcome → EULA → Choose destination folder → Additional → Confirm your choice → Finish
The content of these windows seems to be pretty clear, so we will talk only about the "Additional" window, because there is something we would like to say. The reason this screen brought our attention is that it contained an interesting unmarked checkbox "Do not disable anti-spy software". We left it blank as recommended and tried to install some of well-known anti-spy software. The result was unexpected — the major part of installation screens just disappeared right after double clicking. All In One Keylogger is the only product we have tested with such an interesting feature that of course should be noticed.
As for the interface it is not as good as the program. Everything is grouped into categories, just as we like and easy to use, but it looks like the one, created long time ago. No icons, straight angles almost everywhere, even at Windows 7 with Aero interface turned on… Luckily later you will understand that it is actually almost the only thing we would have recommended the developers to improve.
So, let's review All In One Keylogger according to our testing categories, so you could make sure an obsolete interface is almost the only one software defect.
OS Support
According to the Relytec website All In One Keylogger supports all the operation systems listed in our comparison table. As usual we have tested it on both Windows XP and Windows 7, result — no glitches or problems with functioning. So, maximum in first section — 117 out of 117 points!
Security
Again — all the functions are implemented. Not only the software cannot be found easily, it also can be accessed by either pressing the hotkey combination or a keyword. One interesting thing is that the password also performs the role of a keyword — if you type a password anywhere on the screen — the window of All In One Keylogger will appear. Smart solution! And the last one — both appearing of the warning message and its text can be configured. So, 125 points out of 125!
Monitoring
This is the first group in our testing All In One Keylogger has received not all the points in. But, let's start from the good. The product by Relytec monitors all the keys pressed, clipboard content, system log on/off and idle time, etc. All the features related to screenshot-making are also fully implemented — user can set the frequency of their making, their quality, choose whether to make screenshots of the entire desktop or active window only, whether to make screenshot when the mouse button is clicked. In addition, All In One Keylogger new version 4.2. can capture images from your Web Camera. In Media Setting you just need to tick the desired logging settings (to capture periodically and/or on user login) and preset the intervals. One more interesting thing is that All In One Keylogger is the only software in our comparison that is capable to record the sounds from the microphone. Well done!
As for the bad All In One Keylogger doesn't record system log on password only. All this in total brings All In One Keylogger 300 out of 340 points!
Online Monitoring
One more section All In One Keylogger shows almost perfect results. Basically the only feature not implemented by this software in this section is emails monitoring. As for the rest everything is done perfectly. All In Keylogger logs all the URLs visited in all the 5 browsers in our testing, it is capable of making the screenshots of websites visited and it intercepts both sides of chat conversations in all the messengers, including Skype that is a rare thing in our testing. In points it is 158 out of 176.
Reports
Like in first two sections All In One Keylogger shows maximum result here. All the features are fully implemented: log files including new! WebСam Log can be sent by numerous ways, so as they can be filtered and processed.
